Food stuck in esophagus! HELP!!

Then he does sound like he has an infection, he could have gotten something from eating the dirt and rocks outside, but not giving him access to the outside world would leave his immune system unprepared so unfortunatly there’s not much you could have done to prevent it, some things just happen.

I would get his poo tested for sure, worms, coccidia, giardia, or some sort of bacterial infection are most likely.

In the meantime most feed stores carry corid (amprolium) and safeguard horse wormer (fenbendazole) if you can have someone pick those up for you, you can start treating for worms and coccidia yourself.
Corid works by inhibiting the coccidia from absorbing b vitamins which will starve them out, but it’s important that you do not give b vitamins during the treatment time (5 days) or it makes the treatment useless.
Fenbendazole is a broad spectrum wormer that eliminates most worms except tapeworms, it also has some effectiveness against giardia.

Do you know the exact weight of your goose so I can give dosage for the wormer if you do end up getting it?
I don’t know the weigh of him, and right now he’s asleep. But I can check it when he does wake up. He’s been sleeping a lot lately.
I will definitely get those and start them. Will still probably have to wait till Monday, our feed store is closed on Sunday’s. I can’t thank you enough for helping me and making me feel so much calmer and not like some psycho goose mom🤭 I know that I am definitely ready for him to be all better and to have his hilarious personality back in full force..☺️

This morning my Canada gosling that is 8 weeks old was eating his normal pellets (he’s an inside goose, not sure if I needed to say that) and stopping a few seconds in and seemed like he was choking or couldn’t swallow them. He stopped eating right away and came to me. It’s scaring me really bad. I did take a video of him so you can see what I’m talking about and will hopefully figure out a way to attach it.
But also, all last night I was up with him because he couldn’t get to sleep because he was drooling a lot, it was clear, not discolored or a bad smell, or anything like that but he was up and down all night, then he would be panting after that. I’d give him water but he only took a sip. Also, he would jump up for no reason and take off at times and look really confused but then be ok. He had also pooped when he would do this, but it was something new so I wanted to mention it. He had this really thick rancid liquid poop that was a darkish brown color that about stunk me out of the room. I didn’t take any photos, I just wanted it gone asap! But, I do have other photos of his 💩 from a few days before this that looked kinda weird to me.
I am a new goose mom, so I know absolutely nothing about Canada geese..Gilbert was just brought here at 4 days old by the people I stay with, but I absolutely love and adore him. I’m very disabled and have absolutely no way to get him to a vet and am scared for him. If he can’t eat, then…is all of this some kind of illness? Oh he is also kind of clicking his bill. He doesn’t open his mouth all the way, only a little and will usually do it intervals of 3 or 4. He’s finally asleep right now thank goodness. But I love my sweet baby Gilbert and wouldn’t know what to do without him.

Someone told me how to do the video so here it is—

‼️EDIT
He took a 20 to 30 minute nap then went and ate perfectly fine. Also there’s been No drooling so far today or clicking of his jaw/bill either.
Does he ever get outside time or is he always inside.

He definitely gets outside time. We are outside right now. I’m sweating my booty off and he’s just relaxing having a buffet 🤦‍♀️🤭
I make sure to bring him out 4 or more times a day. But I can’t seem to get him to really graze, he just has some here and there. Should I bring some inside for him as well?

This is his breathing when he gets too hot. Just in case anyone was worried, that’s pepto on his baby cheek.

EDIT‼️
Umm, if Gilbert happened to actually turn out to be a “Jill-Bert..would any of the things happening make sense? Besides the diarrhea of course.

Did you put the ACV in only his water? If you did happen to do that, would you know the ratio of ACV to water?
I actually have the ACV, but it’s the one with the mother, is that ok?
I did check his crop at first, it was normal, seemed to be empty in the morning and throughout the day would get a little fuller, then at night it would be really full. But these last due days it’s been really small, I can feel the bone in there throughout the whole day, even at night.
I definitely want to add the ACV to his water tho, if anyone would know the ratio to maybe a gallon of water??
Yes I only put it in there water.
It's 1Tbsp per gallon.

This is where you can read.

Update- Gilber is now not eating or drinking water and the person that was going to take a sample of his poo to the vet for me had an emergency out of town work thing for the next three days.
I have Clindamycin 300 mg caps-I need to try something, I can’t just sit back and watch him die. Would anyone know the amount I would need to give him? It would be something for now. It’s just all I have.

I’m going to see if my sister will get one of these, I think someone said to get one or the other—posting photo-which one will be better for him? These were the only ones that I could find where you didn’t have to have a prescription for in the state I live in.

You don’t have to answer both questions, if you know one, then that would be so so helpful.
