My issue is: it’s getting harder and harder to keep them out of each other’s age appropriate food. And I free feed and would prefer to keep doing so.

I feed all my chickens (3 years and 8 months) a Poultry feed with 18/20% Protein. Either a Non-medicated Starter Grower or a All-Flock/Flock Raiser, whichever is fresher when I'm at TSC, with Oyster Shells separately, . I get nice eggs, . My first Flock feather picked when I switched to a 16% layers feed. I don't feed less than 18% Protein since then. GC

Thanks GC-Raptor! I’ll have to rethink my feeding a bit for the next couple of months. I was very happy with layer crumbles but since my flock expanded with so many babies and they are all out and about together I wNt to make sure they are all on a proper diet.
