Food?

Well we are quite limited as of covid 19 however in the uk theres not many game bird feed I can provide them and if there is it would take forever to get here so i feed them the pets at home dodson and horrell that's what I got recommended it's what I've seen 19 % protein but I think this information is incorrect
they should be fine with that....we are all having to make some sacrifices due to current conditions.....that question actually came up on myshire youtube video Sunday.....you may find some of their videos interesting.....

i keep mine on the ground in an aviary so they make their own dust bath......you can dig soil from your backyard, use some coarse sand, or bagged dirt or peat moss from store if cage keeping
As I'm in the UK what electroytes and vitamins can I use in my quails water and for how long and when since electroytes being recommended for me are in the US

Any poultry vitamin is recommended. You are looking for added niacin to the quail diet to keep them healthy. I've used Rooster-Booster and now on Durvet Probiotics (feed store didn't have Rooster Booster, but did have this.)

Any poultry or reptile insects should be fine. Check protein level. You may treat them as treats rather than core rations.

My quail enjoy amaranth, quinoa, millet, pecans, almonds, lettuce, celery leaves, avocado, chia seeds (soak first), scrambled egg, berries, just about any veggies...
