I have three chickens that are roughly three months old. They're still on chick starter because all we could find at our Farm and Fleet was broiler chicken food, and layer food. I don't know what to feed them, because they NEED to get off of their chick starter. They also eat bugs and slugs and worms because we let them out of their coop and run a LOT. HELPPPPP! I know this post sounds all depressing and it lacks personality, but I'm sitting by my window, and there was just a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch and all that, so it's all grey and depressing. Ugh.

They can stay on the chick starter until you switch them to layer feed at about 18-20 weeks.

Keep them on chick starter until they are 16 weeks old and then switch them over to layer pellets then. Chick starter has all the right stuff for them to grow until they lay eggs. Don't start on laye rpellets before 16 weeks because that will be too much calcium and their liver/kidneys cant handle it and will result in kidney stones.

Hope this helps!

Thank you people!!!!!!!!! It's my first time with chickens and this helped!
