Hi!
I was checking my 10 year old Cayuga for bumble foot and I saw that her feet look very strange near the back of her foot. I’ve delt with bumblefoot in a different duck before and it doesn’t look like that. I thought it looks like some kinda of foot fungus or something. Or maybe it’s just a callus. I sprayed some vetericyn and blue kote on it. Does anyone know what it could be?
Thanks!
Hayley

It is the early stages of bumblefoot where the skin layer starts to flake, if you continue on applying the Vetericyn or an ointment it should reverse itself.

Its a type of bumble, keep up with the vetracyn and it will go away.
Thank you! I’ll definitely keep up with it. She was limping a while ago and took her to the vet and couldn’t find anything. She said it could be her age but I wonder if this had started then. I also noticed she grow some tiny feathers on her leg which I thought was weird

Thank you! I’ll definitely keep up caring for it! What ointments do you recommend and would you use it with the vetericyn? I have ssd cream
