Foot injury - 2wk old Black Australorpe

Hello!

This morning I noticed this little red mark on one of my chick’s feet, between her toes. I thought it was a tick at first, but it looks like a tiny poke of some sort. Maybe a peck mark?

I’d be most appreciative if anyone could either confirm the diagnosis or tell me other possible ailments.

Also: We’re just trying to keep things extra clean and giving the chicks pro-biotics. Should we do anything else for this sore? I kind of don’t want to call attention to it with ointments etc, so the other chicks won’t peck at it.

That might be a peck or a stick from something in the yard. Doesn ‘t look very serious.
