Foot Problem

My neighbor has chickens and asked me for help. I've never seen this before and I don't know what to do.
She said that the chicken is avoiding putting weight on it, but doesn't express pain when she spreads the toes out. I'll try to get more information as it comes.

Anything on the bottom of the foot - infection, cuts/scabs?
Any swelling of the joints?
How old is the chicken?

I'm still waiting on a picture of the bottom of the foot. She's just over a year.

Doesn't really look like anything is wrong with the bottom of the feet.
She can try restricting activity for a few days to see if she improves. Confine her to a kennel inside the coop or run with her own food/water.
