Foot toes, curved, 4 days old

My Ma bought chicks from a company...one baby has a crooked beak and is small eating good, no problems there...the other has its toes, curved...know I saw something about how to help fix this...I did try a tongue depressor cut down, and bandaids last night, this morning it was off....

anyone?? help....

Give it a few drops of childrens polyvisol vitamins (no iron) every day for a few days and make it a boot. Cut a piece of thin cardboard roughly the size of the foot. Straighten the toes on the cardboard and hold them in place with a bandaid. It will be fine in a few days.

ok, I have done this twice and its not staying on any other ideas?....stubborn little one doesnt want it on. Hate to use medical tape and tear its skin off when its time to remove it.

foot, well it keeps taking off the boot!!! we've put it now like 4 times in two days...lol, its a fighter, an EE....pictures yes, but am so busy catching the house up, and all this rain!!! my coops are swamps!!!! give me a few days to catch up on all and will post pictures...but I can talk here and there....

Ma is selling her buffs and her EE's...I have to edit pics and post in college station, huntsville, houston....

Ok, after puttting the boot on 2 days in a row, it kept taking it off, I finally got it to stay and Im on day 3 I believe....so when do I remove it???

How do I know when I take it off, as hard as it was to make her keep it on ...that her little toes are good now????
