Well my Amherst changed between the age of 13 months to 15 months of age. Mine did it in several stages. The next time your bird moults his new colours will come through. I don't think you have anything to worry about.How long does it take most pheasants to transform? My Red Golden Pheasant still hasn't gotten all his feathers in and he is over a year old.
Paitence, it will happen soon enough. I kinda miss the way Brucie (The above Pheasant) looked when he was a young bird.Thanks a ton! He is very beautiful, but when we see the picture of his parents, we're reminded that he's not quite as stunning yet.
