This may cause an issue if there is no outer door to block weather. Wind/ rain/ snow could seep through that crack if it doesn't seal fully. Rain will hit the door then run down and seep right in. I had that problem with my coop, but it was hitting the front wall, then running down right into the door and into the coop. I thought they were splashing their water on the floor until I was outside w/ them when it was raining hard. But it depends on where you live... Southern states that normally have dryer weather wouldn't be as concerned w/ that as us up north would. I think it's interesting to see how chicken coops vary based on location b/c we all deal with different issues.View attachment 1225884
