For how many days or weeks will hens lay fertilized eggs after breeding?

How long are eggs fertile after the rooster breeds with hens. One hen went broody a few days after rooster died so I figure that clutch of eggs is likely fertile, but now 2 weeks later another hen is broody on a clutch.
What are the chances those eggs are fertile? And for how long after breeding might the hen lay fertilized eggs ?

I like the 10 day window for best results..some say 2 weeks....I would give it a try and then see what the results are...unless you have other fertile eggs for sure that you can use...good luck!
