Oh, I'm so sad! I live in Portland proper and one of our so-called sexed chicks has turned out to be a 'ROO.
He is about 17 weeks, gorgeous, very good tempered Barred Rock rooster. He gets along great with our ladies, so great that we didn't suspect she was a he until this week when he started making un-ladylike noises. He would be fine with kids and/or an environment where he is likely to get petted and handled as he has been well socialized as a chick
I'd like him to go to a nice farm and make somebody some beautiful Barred Rock baby chicks.
Re-homing fee is negotiable, but we will ask a re-homing fee (larger than the cost of a fryer at the store - wink, wink) because we would prefer he's not dinner (or if he's going to be dinner he'll be ours not yours
) I reserve the right to be choosy about his future plans. That said, he really is gorgeous and would love to be living in the country more than in my belly....
Check him out!
