This is a unique situation. This cabin sits on our 11 acres of land and has been around since approximately, 1875. It has had some modernization such as a up to date tin roof when Tropical storm Ivan took the original. A screened porch was added as well. We met one of the members of the orginal family line who was actually born in this cabin. She is now in her mid 70's. A good deal of the old original wood and all the windows are in cabin. We have not taken off paneling on a couple of the walls to see how much more of the orginal wood is underneath like the walls which you can see. We assume it's the same. Modern electric service and a propane fireplace was added over the years. Someone painted an oil that was of the cabin many years ago that takes you further back to the simplier time when this was built. The original stone exterior fireplace that was taken from another property prior to this one still stands proudly on the outside of the cabin. This a purchase that would require the buyer to relocate to his/her site. This is not a brand new super modern modular or cabin home from a box so please, don't contact me anticipating anything like that. This is for someone who looks to refurbish and use something very unusual and historical. We are asking $12,000. If you know anyone who may be interested, please pass along. We have more pictures, just ask me. Thanks for looking.
