FOR SALE/WANTED Stockton CA Pacific Poultry Breeders Show 1/25 - 1/27

Hi,
I also (like everyone else...)  have too many roosters and not enough hens.... If anyone is interested I have

blue and splash langshan roosters (very nice from Pawhead Poultry)

2 bantam salmon favorelle roosters

standard barnevelder roosters from TLS Ranch

I can bring them to Stockton if anyone wants them.

Thanks,
Laura

Hi Laura! We have to make sure to meet up. I will be staying there in the fairgrounds in our trailer. I would love to see you!

Oh cool, party at Sarah's trailer! One more week - need to check to see how many dog crates I can fit in the back of my cool new truck (yup, mid-life crisis is now in full swing...)

Oh, and I edited my post at the at the beginning of this thread to update status of available birds (and add a "wanted" item )

I will be there Saturday afternoon hopefully and looking for a mille fleur D'uccle show quality female chick or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5
wink.png
Don't let me buy more than 6!
Though the D'uccles are my main focus, I also have some other breeds I want, all chicks, and don't need to be SQ
1 white silkie female
1 or 2 bantam marans, want that dark egg!
Need one SQ bird preferably two for 4h for the D'uccles.
And a copy of the American Standard of Perfection, as cheap as possible! But not falling apart lol. And it needs to be fairly new.
Thanks for helping me out!

Still interested...

Hey everybody just a HEADS UP.......
Master breeder/exhibitor SHERYL BUTLER again will be coming down from Bothel Washington. She has been downsizing her flock for a couple of months BUT has held onto some very nice pairs for Stockton. She loves this show. She has won the Breeders Raffle quit a few time as you may already know
. But she has agreed to PRE-sale this year as she has only offered them at a 1st come 1st serve basis in the past years. If you plan on getting to the show later and have missed some of the best in the past,or were way to busy cooping in (as we all have been) to get to see the sale area early. Now is your chance to just pick them up :)

She is already SOLD out of Marans and d'Uccles but does have:
White cochin/frizzle pairs
Black cochins (only 1 pair left)
White silkie pairs

Started (3 months) straight run silkie chicks ( less than 8 left)
and a few cockerels silkie white, frizzle white ,cochin blue

1 doz Buff Show girl hatching eggs $60,from the pen she at Won Crossroad with.

Here number is 425-485-6040 feel free to call her with the quality you are looking for ,she is a GEM of knowledge with GREAT stock!

You needed a truck! Dyann I can't wait to chat with you. It's been too long!

Quote: It's only an hour+ drive, I actually considered worst case scenario of cooping in part of the birds on Saturday morning.................but what the heck would I do on coop out morning!

I am constantly cruising the thrift stores looking for inexpensive small carriers. I might have to get some actual show carriers or find a plan for building a few.
