Before i got my geese i searched a lot on this board for people talking about how loud geese are. I found the occasional person saying their geese are not too loud but most said they are very loud. I just wanted to put it out there that my pair are very quiet. It is breedeng season and even now i hear little from them. When i first got them they carried on at night due to the plovers especially on a full moon but now fhey are used to the wildlife we have the don't even carry on at that. When i swap them into their day paddock and give them a handful of wheat in the morning they greet me very enthusiastically and when i herd them back to their night pen they make grumpy chatter at me. Other than that i don't barely hear them. And my gander can be very loud if he wants to but he just doesn't do it. My gander is a Roman Tufted - Embden x and my goose is a Embded - Toulouse x. Just wanted to add my experience with geese noise level to the mix, my chickens are WAY louder.
