I threw a few half-dead cicadas into the coop and my, three week old, RIR went nuts over them.

Hence, I threw them more cicadas.

The asian family down the street has been making cicada stir fry lately. I politely said no thank you when they offered me some. I was visiting a friend out in the country last saturday. They are so bad there that you hear the usual noise then off in the distance you hear this low roar coming from them.
