So my female mini lop rabbit usually lives in the barn with the chickens but today I brought her into my bedroom to get a little playtime and have something new to do for her. She keeps hopping under my bed but then she comes back out and then hops back under and comes back out. Is this okay? Is it okay for her to go under my bed? She is litter box trained so I don't think she'll pee or poop(I hope!) [IMG]!!!!!!

Litter box training is no guarantee when a rabbit is in new territory. She may be good, or she may feel a need to leave a little scent around. Watch her in the corners, that's the usual place for - um - bunny indiscretions. They also like to chew on things, so watch her around electric cords, computer cables, that sort of thing. [IMG]

She probably thinks that the underneath of your bed is a cozy big burrow. What a great find. As bunnylady said, just be careful that she does not chew on cords or anything she could damage or hurt herself on. My bunny snipped our phone cord even though I was watching her pretty close...just glad it was not electrical. And...I would not count on her not peeing or pooping either [IMG]
It is fun to have them in the house though!
