For those of you who milk goats.

Oh man, that is funny! That's what I have to look forward to? My heart quivers with anticipation!!!! Aisa, here I come, it's time to get that milking adventure going!

If they lay down while milking I put a bucket under their belly that way they cant. If they are hard to handle get some hobbles and use them on all 4 feet. And lots of patience..I dont hit or slap at all I just wait it out. I do say NO loudly when they do something wrong and they learn fast. Just try to figure them out and break the habit before it gets to bad.

Yes, Gran, that is what you have to look forward too. You REALLY need a sense of humor to milk goats.

when i was younger the oldest was a pain in the neck, but now i guess she knows i'm the boss (now i'm not saying she listens to anyone else...)
the evil goat in my life is the neighbors. i dread it when i have to milk her for them. she can reach around in her milkstand and bite me. she yanks my hair so hard i about cry! i really believe that if there was ever an evil goat, she is it.

oh my gosh all of this makes me want to roll on the floor laughing!!! if only because i want to become one of the people who do it everyday. i am so looking forward to getting a milk goat
