That is a wonderful article! I work for a bank full time and a winery part time...my passion is wines(talking about them all the differnt kinds as well as drinking them) and poultry, My Grandmother had me on chickens since I was a little one..I have always said if I could incorporate the two passions and make money off it, I would be as happy as a hen taking a dirt bath in the sun. I applaud you for doing this. I'm only 40 so I guess i still have time huh? LOL

Plenty of time, most of the people in this program are around retiring age 50-60 and they are doing good at it. I happen to be the baby in the program, so I'm told. But it still doesn't stop me from having fun... I frequently visit this place... also in the same program I'm in. You will especially like this as it's a winery... great read

Thanks for all of the congrats... it's kinda an old article... but none the less it was neat to be in an article.

Didn't you have capons too? Didn't see them on your website. Want some fryers and a roaster too. If you're ever heading this way, holler!! I have a friend in Norwalk who wants to try some too.

A year ago I submitted a proposal to farm in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.... They accepted my proposal and along with farming in the park comes a lot of press. This year was my first year and I was put in I think 4 or 5 articles in newspapers and magazines. Pretty cool the first couple... but it get to be a pain after a while. It's best to do a couple a year if your able to... and limit it to that... I think people respond better to the article that way.

It's neat to farm in the National Park but you do so kinda under a microscope in a way. There is somebody always watching... LOL...

Cool, keep up the good work. In the future, it wouldn't be at all surprising to see people referring others to your work, like they do with Joel Salatin.

I didn't realize you're just a pup, though! Very few people have it together that well by your age, (I don't, and I'm 52) you've done well.
