It appears for now [IMG] my feather picking problem is behind me. [IMG] Feathers have grown back and everyone seems to be doing good.

3 of my chickens have peepers on. Is it safe to take off the peepers now that all is well with my flock? Or should I stay the course?

I'm thinking if I did try this it would be in the spring when they have more free rage time and not stuck in the coop and run surrounded by snow.

Anyone else use peepers and have been able to take them off without any negative results?

    Thanks everyone.

You can always put them back on. I wish I could say the peepers worked.

Quote:I gave them extra protein like liver and BOSS.

I also gave them a flock block in the run and hanging cabbages to keep them occupied.
