For those with ducks....

A friend is giving us 2 ducks. I'm wondering if I need to be as worried about hawks with them as I am for the chickens. They are considerably larger, so I wouldn't think hawks would be a problem, but I'd like to make sure. Thanks!

I dont have ducks but I have heard they are more acceptable to predators than chickens

Remember that poulry and waterfowl, especially domestic is near the low end of the food chain. Hawks can kill a duck as easy as a chicken.

i lost ducks to a fox the hawks have kiled a few chickens i have muscovys and they do well
