I'm in South Central Pennsylvania.
I have a really cool Silver Duckwing Old English bantam cockerel for trade he's approx 4.5 months old, friendly with a really funny personality. I am looking for gold or white/silver laced Wyandotte bantam hens or eggs for hatching. His name is Sir Peepsalot, I hate to get rid of him but the dominant rooster had it out for him and the poor little guy is spending his life in a quarantine cage away from the flock and that's no life for a chicken. He's is dog friendly and will follow the dogs around the yard. Would make good pet, he sticks

close and loves treats, he bounces and makes all kinds of amusing noises when you give him a tiny bit of scratch or a banana.

I would take him in a heartbeat but we rescued a fella just like him last month! :D (Also, we're in SC ;) ) Just a quick question--you have him in a guinea pig cage? We fully intend 9 Volt to remain a house critter; he's currently in a huge, see-through tub with a swiftly-growing Brahma, keeping her company for now, but she'll be outside with the rest of the ladies pretty soon and we're looking for housing ideas for the little feller. Just like yours, btw, he is a HOOT! Makes all sorts of funny sounds, sometimes even sounds like a little monkey, his crow is a riot since he's just started. He is completely socialized and hates to not be on the couch. I never thought I'd see a chicken have a temper tantrum, but he does it whenever playtime's over. ;) I LOVE this breed! :D

No it's an actual quarantine cage for chickens. I actually just put him in a repurposed multi level ferret cage tonight. He's tickled pink. He's been driving himself nuts trying to figure out where to perch. He's tried every shelf and every perch at every different angle lol. All the tunnels are still in it and I hid scratch all thru them. He's all kinds of happy now.

Ohhh, I want him LOL What a shame that the only negative I've read about the breed is that males will whup the *tar* out of each other. He and 9 Volt SO would not be buddies LOL

If either of you ladies know of someone else in the Maryland DelMarVa area who needs a house-rooster, I have a Red Pyle OEGB that's just like your two characters ... spoiled and happy. Yukon is a shoulder-rider who has no idea he's a chicken ... and when he's not outside, he DOES live in a guinea pig cage!

Sir Peepsalot has found a loving home. His new chicken mom raises Serama chickens and decided they wanted to expand into having Old English Duckwings. They built a separate coop and run for just the English bantams. So Sir Peeps will have his own little harem all to himself and no danger of becoming dinner.

Also myself, my neighbor and my chicken mentor up the road are wanting to get some guinea fowl, we aren't having much luck finding anything but keets. Looking for older teenage to adult range. If anyone has any suggestions in the south central PA region it would be appreciated. The local sale barns she went to this week didn't have anything but keets at the moment. Thanks in advance
