Forbidden Language on Ebay - Another New Rule!

Maybe we should all get together and start our own auction site

make sure that everyone knows that they need to put on their big boy pants and not have a hissy fit if an egg gets cracked, or if their package arrives an hour later than they wanted it to arrive.

I understand protecting consumers from fraud or scams - but ebay has gone way over the top.

We should get together and make our own Ebay type of thing that is gear to protect the seller AND the buyer. It would take a lot of thought to make it right

Maybe it's just the way you have it worded? I've got some auctions going on ebay right now and haven't gotten anything saying that I have forbidden words in them. Mine say "Shipping is very hard on eggs. I have had many good reports, but due to post office handling I cannot be held responsible once they leave my hands." and "I have had very good reports on my shipped eggs. You can check my feedback here and on www.backyardchickens.com. I am shelleyd2008 on BYC

Maybe they just haven't seen them yet, but how can you guarantee eggs? I could probably guarantee that they would arrive unbroken, but there's no way I could guarantee they would hatch.
