Hello.
my flock of three ex-battery hens recently dwindled down to one. The remaining hen appeared lonely (constantly looking for the other), so I managed to get hold of another ex-bat to join her. I thought being the two of them they would be bosom buddies, but they’ve fought and now won’t go near each other. I know they’ll be sorting the pecking order out, but will they gradually start to tolerate being in each other’s company? They won’t stay in the same space and it’s the established hen that seems to be the one that’s not starting the fight! Should I just relax and let them grow close!!
