FOREVER STICKY BUTT?

This is a new one to me...
LO Chick born got sticky butt right away.and every day since
Now about 2 1/2 weeks or so old never did get butt fuzz OR feathers.
The poo builds up on the vent or now older builds up beneath the vent doesnt fall off and no feathers or fuzz on the butt area all the way down. Just bare skin Not rubbed off just never got any even day 1.
No tail feathers either but rest of its body feathers coming in fine and seems healthy in every way. Im stumped.

give the chicken some powdered probotics like pro bios you can buy online or possibly the feed store. they are excellent because they provide beneficial bacteria like lactobacillus and acidophilus and enterococcus faecium which take their place inside there gut and actually fight off the bad bacteria. if the good bacteria colonizes before the bad it makes it harder for the bad bacteria to affect the gut. I personally use probios. when I got my chicks one had poppy butt pretty bad. after giving the probotics powder in a few days her poppy butt was gone. I rotate from giving probotics vitamins and Apple cider vinegar. I'll give apple cider vinegar for one week a month vitamin for a week and probotics for two weeks. it keeps their gut and stool very healthy. I think if you give the pro biotic it will cure her poppy butt right up. it worked wonderfully for me. if your interested look up probios for chickens and read about the product. you can purchase it from WWW.probios.com its really been a great product. I use only 1/4 of a teaspoon per gallon of water.if not probios I believe rooster booster also makes a probotics powder you can find at feed lot.
