Hi, I was a BYC member several years ago but haven't been on in a long time...Live in western MA with 4 Hungarian Vizslas, 2 kids and a husband....Just hatched our first batch in a number of years, 7 Silkies/Sizzles (I still don't understand that whole Frizzle/Sizzle thing...) Have some Speckled Susexx hatching today that I hope to be our new egg layers!

Hoping to start a small family farm producing eggs, meat, milk, cheese, soap, etc. Any advice would be great as I am just starting to look into the regulations for my state...

I am also currently trying to find some Guinea hatching eggs as we need some tick control!

You might want to start with your states thread and chat with others in your area to see what it might take to get started in this business. You can also call your local town hall and ask what licensing you might need to do this...
