Been trolling for a while now but finally decided to join.

Yup I've had my girls for about 5 months and the rooster for about 3. I got the girls when they were 3 weeks old.

I have only hens. Wish i had room and "guts" to have a roo.

Hi and welcome - glad you've decided to stop lurking (I think you might have meant that vs. trolling - trolling tends to have a very negative meaning online, great for fishing though, lol) and join the flock!

Sunflower it doesn't take a lot of guts to have a roo. Although mine is mostly docile. He only crows a little in the morning and mostly just tries to mate all the girls while they free range. He is kind of skittish though and really hates when I try to catch him. Like any man he will only do something if he thinks it was his idea. lol jk.
