cluckingheck
i wanna be a cowboy, baby ( HELL YEAH )
It gets muddy around the back of the coop because we have more of a clay soil, so constantly walking back there would make it more of a mess than it already is. I’d rather get a little poop on my shoes than slipping in mud and getting poop and whatever else all over my back.I like outside access to nestboxes so that I can collect eggs without getting poop on my shoes. This is even more important if you ever want to go away and ask someone to take care of your chickens.
My dad never goes anywhere, so I don’t have to worry about getting someone else to take care of my chickens, lol.
