Glad I saw this! It would explain the slowness I was having earlier this evening. I was only having problems when I'd hit submit. Everything else flies on through with no delays.

Usually when the server is really tied up (like now) reading the forum is usually fine because reading information from a database isn't much work. Just query and read.

On the other hand, when you hit submit on a post a LOT of things happen: You post is added to the database, but your post count also goes up, the topic post count goes up, the forum count goes up, all the data is entered into the search tables, and a bunch of other things... all at the same time.
