My speckled sussex lays an egg a day,I just found 9. Are they still good to eat? I live in georgia where it's been in the 90's.

Fill a bowl with cold water and stick those eggs in there. If they float they're bad. If they lay flat at the bottom they're fresh. If they kind of stand on one end at the bottom they're pushing it but still ok.

The eggs are good unless they aren't. just do what my aunt did with all eggs, even eggs she bought at the store. Just break the egg into a cup or other small container. If it looks OK it's OK and you can add it to whatever you are cooking. If it looks bad, chuck it.

Ok,thanks. I always collect twice a day but she hid these from me.

If an egg floats just means it's older, not necessarily 'bad'.
Need to open them to know if they are edible or not.
