Found a Bunny

I took a trip to the grocery store (live out in the country so it took a while) got her some spinach, callard greens, and Brussel sprouts. Hand fed her some collard greens and I will keep giving her more as she eats it.

She has actually perked up a bit now and isn't sitting in a cowering position.

My fiancé is almost finished with the hutch as well so we will hopefully get that set up in the morning and I'll research if I can put a brooder plate in there to keep her house warm.

Updating to say this bunny is happy and healthy!
Bunny thinks it's a chicken and enjoys staying inside the chicken coop at night. My fiancé's parents brought us a friend for the bunny and they quickly bonded, the like to cuddle in the lower nesting boxes of the chicken coop lol

I'm glad to hear that! If you haven't gotten hay yet, I would recommend getting orchard grass. My rabbits used to like that

A rabbit's diet should consist of only around 5% pellets; the majority of their diet should be hay (around 85%) with a smaller portion of fresh vegetables making up the rest. Overfeeding of pellets can cause health issues and obesity.

I did get hay, the chickens like it too.

This thread is from December 2024, if they weren't the same sex (and/or fixed), the OP probably figured out the consequences of that by now lol. Rabbits breed like, well, rabbits.
