Found a dead chick

As you can see the rest look healthy. All looked like this till the last Black Astralorp bit the dust. It seemed to just sit on the roost and sleep. It did run around a few times but not like the rest. John
 
I am really not that worried. Just curious what might have caused the problem.

Mark, I have noticed that the smaller of the brood seem to be roos. Slow feather development, smaller size but in the last few days the combs and wattles seem to be getting larger and reder. Feathers on most of the birds have square to rounded ends but the roos feathers are thinner and pointer. All you can do is watch, see and enjoy. John
