found a guinea nest today. got 15 eggs **pics**

i heard the noise ive heard for the past 2 years now when a girl guinea lays an egg. once i heard it i jumped and cleared the horse field and took off running down into the field. well i found the nest and took 15 eggs. tomorrow is day 1.

the reason that there is two possible dads is because the other nite one of the females guineas got killed. theres 2 males and 1 female.

Good luck! I found a nest last week that had 7 eggs and I was going to wait a few days to get more and put them in the bator and checked it the next day and something had eaten them all. Oh well, I have around 60 in the bator already.

TurkeyMountainChickens - the female is lavender, there is a royal purple male and a lavender pied male.

ColbyNTX- 60!! wow. yea the something happened to me also. one day they were there the next not.

i have a question.. how in the world can a guinea egg still be viable through thunder storms, and 35-40 degree weather.

the electric went out yesterday so i took the eggs outside and put them under some broody hens.
