Everyone be on their guard,because it is the season for these venomous devils to come out! Just happy my Dad got it but I am going to be paranoid going out later.

Don’t worry you will rarely see the bad ones and the good ones usually prefer to stay hidden(in water or earth)or run away.Been here my whole life and the only reason I see as many snakes as I do is because non-vem rat snakes love my eggs and mice population and I live near lots of water.

Happily, here in Michigan we have one uncommon small rattler, fine with me. We've lived in serious pit viper country, and learned to be VERY careful about reaching into places, always must look first!

Poor guy. I don’t have children so I don’t mind venomous snakes. I do understand when people have children and don’t want them near their homes.
