these are awesome! Have to go get 2 or 3 thought about making a shelf in the coop to put them on and using velco to secure them down so I can easily remove for cleaning.

I like these. Yes they are more expensive, but I think easier to clean.

Dollar General aka DG has similar containers by Sterilite and they are cheap! A barn lady friend has them nailed to boards for nesting boxes. Works for her!

It looks like it was almost made to be a nest box, if I had a target here I would buy a mess of them.

I bought something similar at WalMart that I've got stacked up and am using for wild bird food. I had planned to get something else that the racoons couldn't get into so easily, but felt guilty for wasting the bins. But looks like they'll be perfect for my soon-to-hatch hens!
My point is, look at other big wharehouse stores. Seems like any store that sells large plastic bins for storage might have something usable.
