Found a plastic bin at Target...great for a nestbox

I went to Target and picked one of these up. It looked perfect for my three banties. I put it in the coop and they FREAKED

. I hope they will get used to it--right now they are roosting as far as possible from it.

I found the Target bins at Meijer (a MI chain) for $6.99 - on clearance.

I think they'd be nifty for people with small children. Aplace for a little bottom to sit - with storage for little tiny shoes!

We scampered off the Target and bought 2 bins. Our gals (13 wks) used to be terrified of everything new, now that they're getting older they are curious about everything. They were sticking their heads in before I could even get the shavings in.

They stack, buttttt I didn't feel they were sturdy enough unless they were anchored down or made heavier??
