Found a random rooster on the side of the road on my way to school with torn up feet and it was getting hot so I brought him home, what now?

He seemed mostly scared when I brought him home, he's very skittish but not very aggressive when I found him and I think there's a possibility that he could be a great pet

I don't have any social media, really. The closest thing I have to it is websites like this
But I can try to ask around, maybe make some signs or something(I could ask my sister to use her social media to help but I doubt she'd say yes...)

he looked fairly healthy overall and he is a rather handsome bird, its hard to believe someone would just dump a chicken next to some orange groves

Has he tried to spur you yet? I know you said he pecked you, how many times has he pecked you? If he tries to spur or peck you pick him up and hold him for awhile. Some roosters are aggressive and you can't do anything about it.
