That's what I just didYou can also place her into some nice warm water to start softening it up then use your finger or a soft cloth or qtip and try to gently start removing it. Hands can be washed.
I feel so bad for her, I wish I knew how long she was alone for or how old she was. I'm letting her warm back up a littleIt could very well be, that is the reason for soaking. It may help.
But like I said I would take her to the rehabilitation place but they are really not good and I'm afraid they will give up on her. She has a fighting little spirit that's for sureI feel so bad for her, I wish I knew how long she was alone for or how old she was. I'm letting her warm back up a little
Okay I will try thatIf you can put her in a bath room sink in nice warm water 85* and keep the room warm soaking her for 5 mins may help to loosen even poop that is backed up.
Yes I did that, it still seems as if something is blocking the vent? She looks a little bloated and I'm afraid I went to long without noticingMaybe a little massage around the vent area at belly might help too. While she is in the water.
We had her in warm water and used a q-tip to rub off the stuck hard poop, it is leaking white poop now but only a small amount as if she's still clogged up???That's where their little vent gets clogged with poop and they need to get it cleaned off asap it will look very dry and clogged. you can take a soft cloth or paper towel and warm water and clean it off. Pasty Buff can kill them if they can't poop.
