Found abandoned duckling! Need advice please!

Now you can't expect a lot of poo since she hasn't eaten but getting it open so poo is coming out is good. Try giving her some warm water to drink the water needs to be warm to not shock her system.

Ducklings favorite place to poop is a warm bath in the sink, put just enough warm water in that its deep as her tail and make sure the sink is deep enough it cant jump out and and fall on the floor

Just make sure its strong enough to stay upright in the water

Yes I did that, it still seems as if something is blocking the vent? She looks a little bloated and I'm afraid I went to long without noticing

How is she doing now? Easy to miss something like pasty butt especially if you don't know what to look for.

We had her in warm water and used a q-tip to rub off the stuck hard poop, it is leaking white poop now but only a small amount as if she's still clogged up???

How is she doing now? Easy to miss something like pasty butt especially if you don't know what to look for.

She is doing well now, she is for sure 3 days old or less. She ate a little and drank a small bit and was also kind of playing in the water. Thank you so much for your help!!

You should remove your duckling's right hind toe to make it appear to be a captive domestic mallard. Otherwise you probably won't be able to get vets to treat it because it's a wild animal.

Oh please right now they are just trying to keep the little one alive. Cutting the toe could traumatize it way too much.
