Found an abandoned duckling

Ok, itty bitty. And cute!
Ducklings right out of the eggs usually need the brooder to be about 90 degrees. Do you have a way to put a thermometer down in the brooder (temporarily) to make sure it's not too hot/cold?

Regular chick starter (usually about 18% protein) will be ok right away, but probably best to go to a farm supply store and get some flock starter/raiser. It's made more for ducklings and poults (turkey babies.) Is baby acting healthy otherwise?

I believe they are. Its constantly trying to jump out the broader. Its
If you've got a little mirror to put in the brooder they like looking at themselves and think it's another duck. Do you know what kind of duck it is? I'm not seen any that color before.
Ok ill put a mirror in. I have no clue what type it is.

It's just one duckling, right?

You mentioned you had seen momma duck with the other ducklings...do you remember what color mom was? Was she smaller and maybe a drab medium brown? The baby looks like more of a non-domesticated duckling type to me.

I though it could be a Mallard at first but the pictures make me think otherwise
