We are not in normal times right now, and the usual resources are not available, I am amazed at the way you quickly acted, and the amazing turn out of events. What a wonderful, cute, amazing Egret you saved. If you wouldn’t have picked it up, there would be one less on the list of recovering bird counts..

Keep him warm and fed, and have yourself a glass of wine..

It is 4 AM here and he still isn't eating! He will wake up and make noise for 2 minutes but his head is flopping around everywhere. I put some of the food next to him in the nest and it looks like he tried going for it but just ended up sleeping again. Do I just try to feed him every time he is making noise?
