I've found a baby pigeon with warts-like scabs covering the top of the head, closing his/her eyes completely. She/he seems doing well except for being blind ..i read about the condition and i suppose it is poxvirus .. which is self limiting but requires supportive care .. I bathed him/her using my shampoo and Dettol (for medical uses) , apply acyclovir topical cream to the scabs, fed him/her wheat and sorghum.
What else can i do for better support?!
