Well I have been finding a couple double yolkers so one or a couple hens are doing that. Nothing new with their flock or home and no they can't get ahold of anything bad to eat. It's been about. 28 degrees up here , not too hot.I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard enough to lose a bird, but even worse when you don't know why.
How old was your bird, had she been laying regularly, and were her eggs all normal?
Have you change anything in the coop or run recently? New bedding, different food, new birds in the flock..?
Is it possible your bird could have got hold of something bad to eat?
Has there been a sudden change in the weather - heatwave or something?
I'm just trying to think of anything that may have affected her - if you can think of anything at all, however small or insignificant it may seem, it may help us try to work out what happened to your girl.
