Found CHICKEN in the Mountains!!!!

I found a white rooster in the canyon while I was fourwheeling! No other chickens. It calmly and happily came to my home and ate lots of food and drank lots of water! My family couldn't decide on a name. Captain Sunny Mountain Leaf Grill Is its FULL name! So much love for it and I'm so glad I got to have it in my life!!!! Its really dirty, and when it pooped it had eaten dirt! Small blood splatters on the back. I think it could have been butchered but got away in the mountains while someone was camping! Not sure. I'm also thinking it was dropped off because a family wasn't interested in keeping it. LOL I love it!
I've only kept bantams. Its a big or medium sized chicken that looks like a leghorn chicken!

Oh, he is soooo handsome!!! Reminds me of my late boy, so sweet & handsome! And they are very smart. My Mr Peanut used to jump on my back when I was turning over the dirt in the chicken yard & he'd just plop himself down on my back or walk right up to my shoulder to perch when I was ready to straighten up. I was his person & he could do no wrong, that little monkey!

You are going to love your boy! Just stay working with him & practice lots of patience when he goes thru his crazy, hormonal teens! I kept a pocket of treats just for him & just on those "we gonna dance lady?" moments when he lost his mind & his eyes glazed over. Then boom, he was over it & back to "noooo, that wasn't meeeee, I LOVE you...let's have a shoulder snuggle"! *sigh* I still love that little guy.
