Found dog advice please

if it were my lost dog I would love for someone to take care of him
and I would pay you for what he ate and dinner out for you too

let them tell you about him
to make sure it is the owner

Ok this is what I just did. Took him to the animal shelter, they checked for microchip. Nope!!!

I left my name/number in their lost/found book.

Funny thing....He was very scared in the truck. He sat in the passenger seat, drooling and peeing

I had my arm on the arm rest and he reached over and put his paw on top of my arm, like we were holding hands

He was comforted by that.

Oh and while we were waiting on the shelter to open, I learned that he knows sit, down and shake!

A dog like that, well really you did all you could to find his owners. I would be happy to say you have a new dog if it were me

OK, no chip - I would start vaccinating him since you do not know whether or not he has been immunized. Good luck with your new dog. I have owned one GSD, and he was the finest animal that I have ever known.
