Call the rescue for you take him to the shelter. They may even come get him or recommend somewhere nearer you. He is really pretty.

I called Villarobos and they aren't currently taking in any more dogs. :/

I just got a call from a rescue willing to take the him and help his leg. YES! Awesome. XD He should be able to get some help sometime tomorrow. XD

Yay! Pitties don't stand much of a chance in kill shelters, unfortunately. Good thing you got him into a rescue! It's great that you saved him!

Don't worry, we took him straight to a vet that had connections with the rescue. It was actually the vet there that saw my craigslist ad and alerted the rescue in the first place. She seemed very optimistic about his chances, even said he had the perfect personality to be re-homed. I tell ya, that dog acted like it loved everybody.
