Found duck...

I went for a walk around a pond today and found a small duck frozen in the water.
Im not sure if it’s still alive, I threw something (not at it) to try to see if it would move. It did not.
Not sure what to do.

Probably not a lot you CAN do
I assume your not still there. . do you plan to go back and see if it's still there?

Perhaps calling animal control can bring some help.
They would be able to get it if it is way out there.
They would also have contacts with rehabilitators if it is still alive.

Thank you for your help. It’s not too far out there.. I’m guessing it fell asleep or something and the water froze over night. Because it looks like it’s sleeping. But it doesn’t move.
