one of my girl kept getting out and would only come out of her hiding place at feeding time so today i watched her and when to where she came out and found 6 eggs is it safe to leave them where they are or to move her and the eggs to a cage

Personally, I'd move her and the eggs to a cage. I'd wait until after dark as it will make the move less stressful on her. Make sure that the cage is in a predator proof area.

I moved one of my broodies last year and I don't think she realized she'd even been moved (after dark) when I checked on her the next morning. All went well for about a week and a half. I went to give her fresh food and water one morning and found her pacing in the run...I'd missed a 1" x 1" spot in the fence and a pair of black snakes were laid up near the nest box, digesting a couple of the eggs. Hope this is some help!
