Found in PooBoard This Morning **GRAPHIC PICS**

chooks4life: It seems you show up in all my posts with all the troubles we're having! lol. I appreciate your input and sharing of your own experiences. We have snakes here, too, and DH would have a heart attack just reading your last post here. He and snakes don't get along - AT ALL!! We've mostly black snakes, but copperheads, cow snakes and some vipers are around as well. I've only seen black snakes in the yard. And I've seen them jump. They'd win the long jump in any competition!

While this thread started as the soft-shelled egg problem, if it's Little Whitey laying them, I shouldn't find any for awhile - I just don't think she'll be laying any time soon. She is doing better, though, and I let her out of her little cage when I'm outside. She can't run, so I can get her pretty easily. She's eating and drinking and nibbles at the grass and clover when she's out. Just moved her from the pet carrier to a larger cage this morning. Her wounds look like they are healing and her left eye stays open longer now.

Just another cat in the cage this morning - actually, a different cat was caught just before dark last night. Neighbor came and let it go. Yet another different one this morning. Whew... The destruction in the coop that night wasn't made by a cat, for sure, nor a snake.
