Found maggots in eggshells. Is it safe to give if I bake them?

My mom gave me eggshells for the chickens and I found a few maggots in the batch. If I bake them at 170 for 30 minutes is it safe to give to the chickens or should I just toss them? Or bake at higher temp?

Chickens like to eat maggots.

I would probably give the maggots and the eggshells to the chickens, without baking.

Baking should not cause any problems, I just don't think it's necessary.

Agree with above. Mine were thrilled to get that maggot filled snake I found. Also old school keepers would hang the heads from harvested livestock over the run for maggots to drop for the chickens to eat.

Yeah, your chickens will do fine eating maggots and all. They would think you crazy for asking.... Glad I am not a chicken.
